Hey man, I saw your comment about David Bilbrey on a for sale post of his. Is there someone specific I should call regarding his scams?

Did he do work on your house?

Keith

No, he got me before he started Surably. He “bought” my landscaping company on installments ,made 2 payments and then sold all my equipment and ghosted. I tried to sue, but he fled state for a while and we couldn’t track him down. He owes us $25k, but I know I’ll never get it. If it would help for me to testify on something, I would.

This was back in 2016 though. I’ve kept tabs on him periodically since then.

His was creekside. What was your landscape company called that he purchased?

Yeh, that’s right. My company was Suttle Lawn Care.

What city and state are you?

Cottontown, Tn but we lived in Springfield tn when that took place.

Bilbrey has a massive wrap sheet. Conning people for over 10 years. We are working on sending him to jail

Yeh, we were really young at the time, and it really hurt us. If I can help prevent that for someone else, I will. The saddest part is that he has 3 or 4 nice kids.

But I don’t think any of them stay with him.

Someone just won a judgement of 1 million against him

I saw that he filed chapter 11 bankruptcy last year.

I’ve only met 1 kid. I think his ex wife is in Lebanon

Yeah he filed BK so he can’t do it again. He has actually filed 3 times over the years. He won’t be able to do it again. It’s a pattern of fraud

Yeh, his first wife is in TN and older kids, his second wife and their son are in Florida I think.

Pam is here in Murfreesboro now. I think she got in trouble in FL

Huh. The whole situation is crazy. Is there a class action in the works or is there a detective I should call to give testimony?

Did you file a police report or take him to court?

Keith

I had a pretty crappy lawyer at the time. I don’t believe I did either. I still have all my purchase agreement documents and did file a lawsuit, but because Rutherford county and the private investigator could never find him, I don’t think he was ever served. I eventually let it go, because we didn’t have the money to fuel it.

Probably just beer and all his Florida trips lol. He for sure isn’t a family man, and doesn’t own anything. Well, pass my info on to the prosecutor, and thanks for working on this.

Thanks man. We simplified our life and eventually recovered. Hard lesson to learn, but I have shared it with a lot of people.
